During Cold Season, Treat Kids with Care
Courtesy of ARAcontent

Many families rely on over-the-counter oral cough and cold medicines to help sick kids feel better, but we can never be too careful when caring for our kids.

To ensure that these medicines are used and stored safely, the "Treat with Care" campaign reminds parents:

Always follow the label exactly and use the measuring device that comes with the medicine.
Do not give a medicine only intended for adults to a child.
Prevent unsupervised ingestions by keeping all medicines out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not use antihistamine products to make a child sleepy.
Consult a physician or healthcare professional with questions.
