Your real estate agent has access to what are known as 'comparables.’ These are listings of houses similar to yours in your neighborhood that have been sold recently, including descriptions, photos, the listing price and the price the seller accepted. Whether you're buying a house or selling the one you own, you absolutely need to be going over the comparables.
If you consider hard water in your home to be a demon, then you may have fallen victim to a few hard water myths. Here are five common myths that have been "floating" around for years:
Crown moulding, probably the most popular architectural addition to rooms today, does for a room what accessories do for an outfit - it adds style, personality and detail. From the kitchen to the dining room to the bathroom, any room can be dressed up with the simplest addition of customized moulding. 
Know Your Space - Before designing or decorating a room, you must know the space. The size of the space determines the scale of furniture, accessories, and even the shade of paint you choose. Imagine a small living room with a grand piano sitting in the center; no room would be left for seating, tables, or much of anything. 
Many homeowners are reluctant to tackle damage to their interior walls –things like cracks and small holes. In many cases, these problems can be easily repaired with simple tools and some inexpensive material. Taking the do-it-yourself approach is a great way to save money, while at the same time learning some valuable skills that may be useful down the road.
